Suzanne Roberts Theatre at Symphony House1 of 4Urban Transformation
CASE STUDY:
Leveraging The Arts
Employing arts and culture as a springboard for urban economic growth.
Leveraging the City’s changing arts and culture scene, Dranoff Properties transformed a former parking lot into the Nation’s Best High Rise Condominium Project, as chosen by Multifamily Executive magazine in 2008.
Dranoff's ability to incorporate the Suzanne Roberts Theatre within the base of the building offers residents of Symphony House a truly unique experience and brings new meaning to the expression "Home Entertainment." By sharing infrastructure, acting as general contractor and dedicating their own accounting, marketing and management staff to the project, Dranoff was able to achieve the Philadelphia Theatre Company's vision of building a world-class venue.
Lauded by investors, residents, the media and community, Symphony House redefines luxury living in the City of Philadelphia by opening to 90% occupancy and drawing affluent suburbanites back to Center City.
